To make readily available to all residents access to materials, information, and services to meet their personal, educational, cultural, and occupational needs.

We invite you and your children to stop by and visit with us! Our library offers the following services:

Children’s Hour (ages 3-13) Fridays from 12 p.m to 1 p.m.

Topics and schedule for Children’s Hour can be found on the community event calendar on this website.

The Prichard Public Library also holds a summer reading program every summer. This program is very successful in helping kids to get excited about reading.

The Prichard Public Library is a place to pick up your free copy of The Prichard Report as well. Check it out on or just after the 10th day of each month for city news and events, including stories about the Prichard Public Library!
