The City of Prichard City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Prichard City Hall to consider the proposed vacation of a portion of an unimproved and unopened right-of-way located generally west of Anton Street and north of Hand Avenue Extension, and south of Wolf Ridge Road.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for residents and interested parties to hear details regarding the request and to offer public comment before any action is taken by the City Council.
According to the official public notice, the petition for this request was submitted by H.H. Jordan Construction Company, Inc., and TForce Freight, Inc.
All persons wishing to be heard may speak in person at the Public Hearing. Individuals may also submit written responses to the City of Prichard prior to the hearing in order to be considered.
